One block off from Lincoln Road, Seventeen Restaurant is a modern bistro with a retro atmosphere in the trendy area of South Beach, Florida. Open in the beginning of 2009, the restaurant is decorated with an Art Deco style architecture and Italian paintings on cream color walls with candles on the tables. The restaurant resides blocks away from Jewish Museum of Florida on 3rd & Washington Avenue, Holocaust Memorial on 19th & Meridian Avenue and Cuban Hebrew Congregation on 17th & Michigan. They have a delightful menu which transcends expectations of traditional Italian cuisine and sushi. A couple of the inventive appetizers to choose from are gravalax and mozzarella fresca. In addition, fried zucchini sticks and fried mozzarella sticks, both served with marinara sauce, are among the classic appetizers. Served with a salad on the side, try any of their wraps and if you are in the mood for pizza, they have several gourmet 10” inch personal pies. Their reasonably priced menu continues with delicious pasta dishes, such as Fettuccine Alfredo and Portabella Mushroom Ravioli among the favorites. All fish entrees are served with two side dishes with recommendations consisting of Red Snapper Fradiolovo and Tuna Roast. The restaurant also offers a number of Mexican dishes including Cheese Quesadilla and Vegetable Quesadilla, both served with salsa, sour cream and guacamole on the side. The restaurant also has an extensive sushi menu to satisfy everyone. If you’re looking to experience Southern Florida at its best, they have a wonderful South Beach Roll that consists of imitation crab, cream cheese, avocado, topped with imitation shrimp tempura and Japanese mayo, chili and mock eel sauces. Their menu can be customized to whatever party or event you may have. They can also provide you with any special need you request.
