Pantry is a dairy caterer, café, prepared food boutique, and specialty ingredient store - in short a pantry. Owner and chef, Sam Kanner started out with only a few tables and by high demand expanded within six months. Pantry has an open kitchen concept, where their customers and diners can see everything going on “behind the scenes” to prepare their food. The design of the space is a little rustic, a little contemporary and a lot inviting. The vibe is a comfortable feeling with a youthful exuberance. The eating area has free Wi-Fi for customers to keep connected while grabbing a bite to eat.
An enjoyable café for breakfast, lunch, and late night snack, Pantry showcases an array of dairy and vegetarian delights; from salads and sandwiches to fish entrees and desserts. Have a great start with Baked French Toast with a hot Double Espresso (locally roasted coffee shot times two) or a cup of Hot Chocolate (rich steamed milk poured over a handful of milk chocolate nibs, topped with froth and cocoa powder). Sharing bites are the delicious Potato Perogies (pillows of fried dough filled with potatoes and served with sour cream) and a recommended appetizer is the Salmon Dumplings (fresh salmon, herbs in a delicate dough with plum sauce). From the garden, knock-out salads include the Grilled Pear Salad with goat cheese,  the Tofu “Steak” Salad and the Pantry Chop Chop which comes with crab or tofu. If you are looking for something a little more hot and cheesy, the Grilled, Crispy Flat Pizza is a treat, with five different toppings to choose. Don’t stop just there, save room for dessert and try their Cheesecake (vanilla, chocolate, or caramel) and healthy Spelt Chocolate Chip Cookies.
At Pantry, there is a lot of fun with food and they want to spread that playfulness around. Therefore they offer cooking classes for all age groups, at the Pantry prep school, with which they try to impart their love for food to others and hopefully help them stock their “Pantry” with tips and techniques to succeed in the kitchen. As caterers, Pantry continues to wow their customers for corporate events, and private family parties such as sheva brachot. A typical catering menu would include a large selection of hors d’ouerves, sliders, and platters.
