Description
Eden Wok’s signature brand of Chinese, Japanese and Asian fusion has made it a dining (and delivery/takeout/catering) destination for almost two decades. While their easily accessible Westchester location is just 20 minutes from White Plains, NY and Stamford, CT,. their combination of “made fresh to order” quality, innovative menu items and the welcoming warmth and ambiance that owner/manager Josh Berkowitz infuses into every dining experience, makes it easy to understand why Eden Wok’s “regulars” feel it’s worth the trip from Manhattan, Monsey, Riverdale & North Jersey (to name but a few). While other venues would be scared to “rock the boat”, Josh, in his ongoing quest to “raise the bar” worked with Executive Chef Ming to develop one of the first kosher Thai menus in the US. Chef Ming- a graduate of the Culinary Arts School of Malaysia, rose to the challenge by creating/adapting a full range of Thai favorites.
The result? Eden Wok’s guests can enjoy traditional Thai classics like the Duck Pad Thai, Singapore Mai Fun, Thai Green Curry, and Penang Red Curry. If your taste-buds or fellow diners are hankering for classic Chinese, don’t miss the Eden Wok ‘classics” like Sesame Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, or the General Tso’s Chicken. If you’re in a sushi mood, prepare to be impressed by selections where the ingredients are every bit as fresh as the thinking- case in point, the Kawasaki Roll which is created with peppered tuna, avocado and wrapped with a “just right” spicy salmon- for something a bit more creative, don’t miss the phenomenal Fuji which is salmon, avocado, spicy tuna, avocado and sweet lime sauce. You can also get fantastic sushi paninis that have napoleon rice, spicy tuna or salmon, mock crab and tuna topping. If your sushi selections put you in a “made in Japan” mindset, be sure to order the Beef Teriyaki.
Ever the innovator, Josh continues to adapt culinary trends to ensure the menu is as appealing as possible to as many guests as possible. His recent additions of Low Carb and Diet Gourmet food items (which are steamed with no salt, oil, or corn starch)- are a hit both in-store and with corporate and personal/event catering clients who often “need to feed” a wide range of guests and dietary demands. If you want to know what Asian-inspired dining will be offering tomorrow, get to Eden Wok today.
